Xmas Workshop Europaallee – Macramé Plant Hanger

Macramé is an ancient textile technique that consists in knotting cords together in order to create flat surfaces like belts, rugs and wallhangings, or three-dimensional objects such as bags and hammocks.
Although it became very popular in the 70’s, it has a much longer tradition and has been known for centuries in many different places all around the world. Nowadays it enjoys a revival along with other textile-related crafts.

During this exclusive 3-hour class at the Europaallee studio Anna & Juan shows you the basic macramé knots and how to make a simple plant hanger with cotton rope, ideal to give a bohemian – yet modern – touch to your place.

Note: The plant hanger is suitable for pots with a diameter of approx. 14 to 20 cm. You can bring your own pots.
