Stitch Diary – with Jana Bochet
This workshop teaches of basic embroidery techniques as we know them in Europe. The individual stitches are learned with the help of Jana’s embroidery materials and templates and are suitable for all levels. In addition to historical and technical aspects, the stitch diary itself will be discussed. This involves embroidering a piece of fabric over a longer period of time, which allows you to record or pass on your own experiences. Whether as a personal or artistic activity – creating an embroidery diary is becoming increasingly popular.

Jana Bochet:
“I was born and raised in Slovakia, where I learned embroidery from my mother as a child. During and after my studies of philosophy at the University of Zurich I started to deal more and more with the aspects of needlework. In my courses and workshops I offer a new approach to the (often underestimated) work with thread.”
