Mending – with Jana Bochet
The Mending workshop offers participants the opportunity to repair and improve their own garments. The damaged areas can be mended discreetly or playfully, making the garment personal and starting to tell its own story! Why is this spot rubbed off and the hole just here? The aim of the workshop is to learn different techniques; these can be varied or combined depending on the material. Wooden mushrooms and eggs are available as a base for working, as well as a wide selection of yarns (wool, silk, cotton, bamboo paper, etc.).

Jana Bochet:
“I was born and raised in Slovakia, where I learned embroidery from my mother as a child. During and after my studies of philosophy at the University of Zurich I started to deal more and more with the aspects of needlework. In my courses and workshops I offer a new approach to the (often underestimated) work with thread.”
