Macramé Tapestry – Knotting a Landscape – California Dreaming

Take some creative time out and join us for California Dreaming’s upcoming macramé workshop!

Learn how to make a macramé landscape in this five and a half hour event!

After a short introduction to the oriental knotting technique macramé, macramé artist Dörte Bundt will guide you step by step through the knotting of your own macramé tapestry. Dörte will show you valuable tips and tricks from her many years of experience in the art of knotting, and at the end you will take home a self-knotted macramé tapestry.

Beginners are recommended to knot the provided landscape picture. Those who already have experience with macramé are welcome to bring their favourite holiday picture of a landscape and try their hand at knotting it.

Included in the course are personal instructions from macramé artist Dörte Bundt, ropes in a selection of beautiful colours, a wooden round stick as well as suitable music and good vibes!

Dörte Bundt / California Dreaming:
Dörte has been a freelance macramé artist in Berlin since 2015 and with her label California Dreaming she has since taught almost 1000 macramé enthusiasts how to knot. Find out more about Dörte here.
