Eco Print / Bundle Dye (German)

The colours and shapes of leaves and blossoms can be very easily transferred directly onto textiles using the eco-print technique. The result is sometimes exactly what was planned, sometimes completely unexpected.

At the beginning of the day, we collect plant material in the immediate vicinity and print silk fabrics with it. The rest of the workshop is open for exciting experiments. In between, there will be background knowledge for those who want to learn more about the pre- and post-treatment of the textiles – which is entirely without synthetic additives. Participants will host smaller samples and a larger piece of fabric.
