Dyeing gardens: HSLU building rooftop and courtyard

On Monday January 9 we visited the HSLU Soziale Arbeit building to check its rooftop and the possibility of building a dyeing garden in the heights.

In addition to the lack of a guardrail, the absence of a safe climbing system and a water source, we found out that the the rooftop is not prepared to withstand the weight of boxes, soil and plants, besides snow.

On the other hand, we were offered to use the courtyard instead, which we found more likely to work at. Since this would imply a careful planning, sponsors searching and a lot of hardwork, for now we are going to concentrate our efforts on dyeing wool and working along with designers.
