Friends with the Alpine Cashmere Association
Last Saturday we were invited to join the meeting of the Swiss Alpine Cashmere Association in Zürich: A group of about twelve highly ambitious and adventurous people who love the beauty of cashemere goats and are aiming at the production of the finest of the fine yarns. A first stunning result is tangible. But it’s still a long way to a marketable product, since one goat yields very little and there’s just a bunch of animals spread over the country. Nevertheless the encounter was fruitful and many ideas started growing.
