 ries it has been used on almost all continents to dye textiles and it rema
 ins in vogue also nowadays. The most popular article of clothing owes its 
 color to indigo: the Blue Jeans. But indigo is also used in various resist
  dyeing processes and is especially inseparable from the Japanese folding 
 and tying technique Shibori. \n\nThis workshop will not only give you an i
 nsight into the different types of Shibori but also into the complex indig
 o dyeing process. You will learn a recipe\, dye various textile samples an
 d a larger piece of silk (approx. 175 x 35 cm) using Shibori folds.\n\nDur
