DESCRIPTION:Fully booked – Literature often refers to it as the king of d
 yes. For centuries it has been used on almost all continents to dye textil
 es and it remains in vogue also nowadays. The most popular article of clot
 hing owes its color to indigo: the Blue Jeans. But indigo is also used in 
 various resist dyeing processes and is especially inseparable from the Jap
 anese folding and tying technique Shibori. \n\nThis workshop will not only
  give you an insight into the different types of Shibori but also into the
  complex indigo dyeing process. You will learn a recipe\, dye various text
 ile samples and a larger piece of silk (approx. 175 x 35 cm) using Shibori
