Paper Cut with Lucila Biscione

During this workshop of 4.5 hours, papercut artist Lucila Biscione will show you the technique of paper cutting in a “step by step project” using a template pattern designed by her.

You will get to know references and the possibilities of the paper cutting art. You will learn about cutting tools and techniques and how to work with layers, composition, collage and volumes.

At the end of the class you will know practical techniques and have useful insights which will allow you to continue your practice.

This workshop is ideal for beginners or participants with previous knowledge looking to learn the art of paper cutting and expand their creative skills.

Lucila Biscione is a Papercut artist based in Berlin and born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lucila studied drawing, painting and graphic design in her formative years. She started working on papercuts in 2010 and fully dedicated to work with it since she is living in Berlin (2015).
The works she creates are carefully cut by hand and often mixed with pencil and ink, which makes the characters come to life even more. It’s her own emotions that inspire her the most and challenges her to transform her art into a different reality. Every small detail of my life can be a story to draw. Since a while she moved on to creating large and complex paper cuts in combination with layers, textures and different depths.
