Knitting – Advanced

Knitting allows you to create unique, long-lasting garments and accessories. It is a fun, relaxing activity that can be practiced at home, on the train, alone or with fellow knitters.

In this advanced course you will deepen your knitting skills, learn to create shapes and textures, and acquire the tools to start designing your own garments.

Day 1:
Yarn over, increase and decrease
Basic stitches lexicon: eyelet

Day 2:

Color work, Fair Isle knitting
Basic stitches lexicon: color patterns

Day 3:
Circular knitting – double pointed needles
Socks (part I)

Day 4:
Socks (part II)
Garment design; shaping; body measurements, calculations, gauge; blocking

Duration total:
10 hours

2.5 hours per evening
