SUMMARY:Day Workshop Modern Silk Painting – with Sokina Guillemot
DESCRIPTION:In this intensive workshop you will have the opportunity to ben
 efit from the French textile artist Sokina Guillemot for five hours. You w
 ill design a scarf (with finished borders) made of high quality silk measu
 ring 90 x 90 cm\, first by drawing\, then by painting.\n\nSokina will prov
 ide some very simple drawing patterns\, but you can also bring your own id
 eas. She will guide you in the development of your project. The rich colou
 r palette and Sokina's way of working will make you look at silk painting 
 in a whole new light.\n\n\n\nSokina Guillemot:\nSokina Guillemot is a Fren
 ch artist\, who lives and works in Paris. After her studies at the Duperr
 é School of Applied Arts she travelled and worked for various textile com
 panies. A freelance artist for 15 years\, her work is mainly based on text
 iles\, colours and paper. Since 2015 she has been painting silk in a fresh
 \, modern and precise way. She mixes techniques to design her collections.
  Her projects include silk scraves\, backdrops for photo shoots\, wallpape
 rs etc. She often collaborates with other brands. \n\nSokina teaches works
 hops throughout France and Europe and enjoys sharing her craft with others
 .\n\nDuration total:\n5 hours (plus 1 hour of lunch)\n\nLanguages:\nEnglis
