Creative Embroidery – with Guillermina Baiguera

On October 20th we will have the pleasure to host once again embroidery expert and artist Guillermina Baiguera. During this incredibly creative four-hour-workshop she will show different stitching techniques and help you develop your own embroidery style.

Guillermina lives and works in Buenos Aires. As the director of the art gallery Formosa, she has developed and coordinated embroidery workshops since 2008, establishing a unique space where this handicraft is taught and practiced.
In 2014 she edited and published her first book, “Manual: puntos bordados” (Buenos Aires, Formosa Ediciones, available at Anna & Juan) a beautifully illustrated compilation of her favorite embroidery stitches.

Creative Embroidery: 

Through a simple exercise that trains observation and comprehension, we will identify the elements that create an image and focus on the process of composing and designing your own embroidered piece.
