In this workshop we will have a look into the centuries-old batik history. Where does this reserve technique orgininate from, which motives were worn by the sultans and why were there forbidden patterns?
You will develop your own pattern and learn the basics of Batik Tulis. With a pen-like tool (canting) we will apply the liquid was to the fabric.
