Dyeing Garden – Day 127

The plants from the garden look great. We think we will be able to try some of them by the end of the summer…

The Japanese indigo seems to be happy:

The Tansy grows slowly but strongly:

The Madder has many blossoms:

The Pokeberry is about 90 cm tall and has little fruits that soon will turn deep pink:

The weld has many leaves ready to be collected:

The Lady’s bedstraw is one of the species that is taking longer to develop. The plants are small and scatered. But we have to wait at least two years to dig out the roots:

The Hollyhock is one of the “happiest” plants in our garden: it is more than 1 m tall and full of flower buds:

We can’t wait to see the colours!
